"I was really pleased to be invited to read," she said. "There were maybe 10 of us asked to read an excerpt from a book we liked. I did 'The Last Day the Dogbushes Bloomed' by Lee Smith. Ragan also recorded more TV and radio spots for her ongoing campaign in Chicago for a group of hospital and wellness centers, and this week is voicing a role in the animated short, THE CANYON with director Mike Robinson.

Bette Rae just worked on June 3rd on the third episode of the new HBO show LITTLE BRITAIN, USA. Bette plays Mrs. Dean in a short skit for a live audience. It was a nice scene and fun working with David Schwimmer (from "Friends") who directed the scene.

Angela McEwan did voiceover (ADR) as a newscaster for a UCLA thesis film, UNENDING HELL. The film is going to be shown at UCLA on July 17. She is also having fun getting "killed" on Saturday nights at the Mystery Dinner Theatre (Dinner Detective) in Santa Ana.

Jonny Lewis played an evil CEO in Ian Hotchkiss's sci-fi thriller ONE-LINK, screened at the 48-Hour Film Festival.

Eileen Dietz just shot a music video about Boob for Breast (cancer) awareness. It was a difficult job as she had to sit in a hot tub for 3 hours and between breaks eat great craft service. It will be on YouTube and other outlets in the near future.

Jean Iavelli just finished shooting a commercial for American Songbook CD Music Collection... To prepare for the commercial she was given 10 CD's with wonderful music from the 50's and 60's..

Joan Marlowe worked on a spec commercial for a french lingerie company. No, she didn't get to wear any lingerie. Joan also finished shooting a feature film titled ALPHONSO BOW.

Jackie Goldberg just had a major part in a USC film playing a sounthern feisty grandma in the project called THE VAN PELT FAMILY. Jackie just completed a national cable commercial for CTIA.
