Philip Sokoloff has had a long career as an actor and
publicist. As the most active theatre publicist in the Los Angeles
area, he represents over 100 live attractions annually, and has been most
closely associated in recent years with Fremont Centre Theatre, the Los
Angeles Women's Theatre Festival, Ray Bradbury's Pandemonium Theatre Company,
Los Angeles Theatre Center, Robey Theatre Company, Latino Theater Company,
the MET Theatre, Theatre West, The Eclectic Company Theatre, Greenway
Court Theatre, Edgemar Center for the Arts, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and
the Southern California Shakespeare Festival.
He has donated time over the years to a number of organizations, including
the South Pasadena Independent Arts Council, Theatre of Hope, Art Institute
of Long Beach, and Women in Theatre. As an actor, he has appeared
in recent years on the stages of Fremont Centre Theatre, the El Portal,
the MET Theatre and the Lonny Chapman Group Repertory Theatre.
