GRANVILLE VAN DUSEN began his professional career in Minneapolis at the
Guthrie
Theater
where
he worked for five seasons.
Since moving to Los Angeles
thirty some years ago, he has worked mostly in television
and film. Never-the-less, he has remained involved
in local theater.
He’s played the Mark Taper
Forum, The Court Theater, The Gene Dynarski Theater,
The Rubicon Theater, The Skirball Center, The Falcon
Theatre, The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts,
and is a member of The Matrix Theater Company. Recently,
much to his agent’s chagrin, he opted to forgo
TV and film and concentrate solely on the theater.
As for “women in theater,” If
you asked his father, he would tell you that the reason
Granville
became an actor in the first place was because of
women in theater.
